Any potential resident, their relatives and friends are positively encouraged to visit the home at any time to gain as much information as possible. If a new resident can't visit the home and spend some time with us then either the Manager/Proprietor/Deputy Manager or Senior Care Staff will visit the person at home or in hospital. In either case, a preliminary assessment with the person will be carried out to ensure that the home can meet their needs.
This preliminary assessment will form the basis of the ‘Care Plan’, which outlines the individual needs of the person. The ‘Care Plan’ is designed with the resident and belongs to the resident. They are therefore given a copy. The ‘Care Plan’ is reviewed each month with the resident and any changes necessary are recorded.
